On 10 October 2024, the European Commission hosted the technical launch of the EOSC EU Node in Brussels. This event marked a significant milestone and provided the opportunity for panel discussions surrounding the EOSC Federation build-up and European data spaces.
The upcoming launch of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) EU Node was announced during this year’s ERA Conference. The keynote speech of which highlighted EOSC and the EU Node as an example of collaborative efforts aimed at promoting Open Science across Europe.
The 2024 edition of the “Coordination meeting of EOSC-related projects funded under Horizon Europe” took place from 20 to 21 June in Brussels. There, key project representatives gathered to deepen collaboration and discuss possible future synergies.
The EOSC Symposium 2024 marks a crucial step toward shaping the future of EOSC beyond 2027. The event will be held both in-person and online, and will be characterised by collaborative efforts, enhanced participation opportunities, and a shared commitment to driving innovation in research infrastructure.
